Linda McNabb was born in England, but has lived in New Zealand since she was four years old. A natural storyteller who loves inventing characters and worlds for them to live in, Linda lives in Auckland with her husband and two young daughters, and the rest of the time in the rich, fertile land of her imagination.
Her first novel was The Dragon's Apprentice, which has been selected as a finalist in the Junior Fiction Category for the New Zealand Post Children's Book Awards for 2003. The winner will be announced at an Awards Ceremony at Parliament on Tuesday 8 April 2003.

The Puppet Master will be released on 7 March, at a recommended retail price of $14.99.
